This policy explains what Ankit Kumar Soni (Proprietor), trading as Trip Thirsty, collects when you use tripthirsty.in and why.
1. What we collect
When you send an enquiry (trip planning, M.I.C.E, domestic, or the offer form) we collect your name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, and the trip details you enter — destination, dates, traveller count, budget and any message. This is used only to prepare your quote and follow up with you.
If you write a review we collect the name you enter, your email address, your city and the review itself, plus any photos you attach. Reviews and photos are published only after our team has read and approved them, and your email address is never shown publicly. You can ask us at any time to change or remove your review or photos.
2. Cookies & local storage
We use a small number of cookies/local-storage entries, all first-party (nothing sold to ad networks):
- Theme preference — remembers whether you chose light or dark mode.
- Favorites — the packages you've saved with the heart icon, kept entirely in your browser, never sent to our servers.
- Recently viewed / searched — used only to pre-fill the enquiry form with what you were already looking at, so you don't retype it.
- Cookie notice acknowledgement — remembers that you've seen this notice.
- Analytics — Google Analytics, used only to understand overall site usage (which pages are visited, roughly how many visitors, general location). It only starts once you accept this notice below, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles or sell your data.
None of these are advertising or ad-retargeting cookies. You can clear them any time by clearing your browser's site data for tripthirsty.in.
3. Who we share data with
We share enquiry details only with the hotels, airlines, transfer and activity vendors needed to fulfil a confirmed booking, and with our email delivery provider solely to send you our reply. We do not sell your data.
A few features rely on third-party services that receive some technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) when they load: videos on our pages are played from YouTube (using its privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com address), the bot-check on our forms is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile, and the map on package pages comes from Google Maps. Each of them applies its own privacy policy to what it receives. Once you accept the cookie notice, we also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used.
4. How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for as long as reasonably useful for customer service and accounting/GST record-keeping, then deleted.
5. Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to info@tripthirsty.in.
6. Security
Enquiry data is stored on our hosting provider's servers with access restricted to authorised staff. As with any online service, no transmission method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
