Dubai is easy to organise: compact, safe, English-friendly and built around a handful of headline sights. Four days covers the essentials; six lets you add Abu Dhabi and a water park.

When to go

November to March is the season — warm days, cool evenings, every outdoor activity comfortable. April and October are borderline. June to September is very hot and best kept to indoor attractions and malls.

A workable plan

• Day 1: arrive, evening dhow cruise dinner on the Creek or Marina.
• Day 2: half-day city tour with Dubai Frame, then Burj Khalifa in the late-afternoon slot.
• Day 3: desert safari — dune drive, camp, barbecue dinner.
• Day 4: Museum of the Future, or Aquaventure at Atlantis.
• Add-ons: Abu Dhabi day trip for the BAPS Hindu Mandir and Ferrari World.

Money and budget

Currency is the UAE Dirham, pegged to the US dollar. Cards are accepted almost everywhere. Packages start at ₹45,000 per person with 4-star stays, breakfast, private transfers and the listed tickets — the big Burj Khalifa and theme-park entries are already included where stated.

Visa and entry

Indian travellers normally need a pre-arranged UAE tourist visa (short-stay options exist; holders of certain US/UK/Schengen visas may get visa-on-arrival). Apply well ahead — we can guide the paperwork. Confirm current rules for your dates.

Practical notes

• Dress is relaxed but modest in malls and mosques; carry a light layer for fierce air-conditioning.
• The Metro is cheap and clean for the Downtown–Marina spine; taxis for everything else.
• Book Burj Khalifa and desert safari in advance — walk-up slots sell out in season.
